'The all-time low': Donald Trump lashes out at Time's 'super bad' cover image.

This is a positive story in a publication that Trump has consistently praised – with one exception. The front-page image, the president decreed, ""might be the most terrible in history".

Time magazine's tribute to Donald Trump's part in mediating a truce for Gaza, featured on its November 10 cover, was presented alongside a photograph of the president taken from below and with the sun behind his head.

The outcome, the president asserts, is ""terrible".

"Time Magazine wrote a fairly positive story about me, but the photo may be the Worst of All Time", Trump wrote on Truth Social.

“They removed my hair, and then had an object hovering on top of my head that appeared as a floating crown, but an remarkably little one. Quite bizarre! I consistently avoided taking pictures from below viewpoints, but this is a super bad picture, and deserves to be called out. What are they doing, and why?”

Donald Trump has shown clear his wish to be pictured on Time’s cover and achieved this on four occasions in the previous year. The obsession has made it as far as the president's resorts – in 2017, the editors demanded to remove mocked up covers shown in some of his properties.

The most recent cover image was shot by a photographer for Bloomberg at the White House on the fifth of October.

The shot's viewpoint was unflattering to his chin and neck area – an opening that the governor of California Gavin Newsom did not miss, with his press office tweeting a version with the offending area pixelated.

{The hostages from Israel held in Gaza have been liberated under the first phase of Trump's ceasefire agreement, together with a Palestinian prisoner release. The arrangement may become a defining accomplishment of Trump's second term, and it might signify a strategic turning point for the Middle East.

At the same time, a support for Trump's image has been offered by unusual quarters: the communications chief at Moscow's diplomatic office stepped in to criticise the "damaging" photo selection.

It's remarkable: a photograph exposes those who picked it than about the subject. Just unwell persons, people driven by hatred and animosity –possibly even deviants – could have picked this picture", she shared on the messaging platform.

In light of the positive pictures of Biden that the periodical displayed on the cover, notwithstanding his health issues, the story is simply self-incriminating for the magazine", she noted.

The explanation for his queries – what were Time’s editors doing, and why? – may be something to do with innovatively depicting a sense of power stated by a picture editor, Guardian Australia’s picture editor.

The image itself technically is good," she says. "They picked this image because they wanted the president to look heroic. Staring up at someone creates an impression of their majesty and the president's visage actually looks contemplative and almost a bit ethereal. It's uncommon you see images of the president in such a peaceful state – the photo appears gentle."

His hair appears to “disappear” because the light from behind has bleached that section of the image, creating a halo effect, she adds. And, while the article's title complements the president's look in the image, "you can’t always please the individual in question."

Nobody enjoys being shot from underneath, and while all of the thematic components of the image are very strong, the appearance are not complimentary."

The publication reached out to Time magazine for a statement.
